12/23: Happy Holidays!

As we near the end of our second year (!), it's a moment for reflection on our growth and community. We've welcomed 16k+ visitors from 100+ countries!

This year brought in new contributors—Carolina Pérez-Pradilla, Rodrigo Daly Guris, and Vinícius Quintão—along with the exciting addition of Melody Herman to our board (we're thrilled!). Together, we've explored diverse topics, from practical advice like parental presence in the OR to parental guidance on preparing children for surgery. In addition, Sam Tafoya's latest contribution, "Costoclavicular Brachial Plexus Block," stands out for its usefulness in blocking the brachial plexus, especially in kids with unique anatomical challenges, such as in-situ central lines or limited supraclavicular fossa area. As always, Sam delivers. 

Something we are really proud to share is the integration of translations on our platform. Carolina Pérez-Pradilla has begun translating content into Spanish, with Portuguese translations by Vinicius Quintao following quickly behind. We remain committed to dismantling barriers and openly sharing expertise to drive innovation and enhance patient care.

Our participation in the Texas Ultrasound Extravaganza, particularly our successful pediatric regional anesthesia workshop, has been immensely gratifying. It solidified our connections, reaffirming our commitment to nurturing generosity, respect, and bold curiosity within our community. And let me assure you, our collaboration in Texas was just the beginning. While we eagerly anticipate our upcoming pediatric regional anesthesia workshop at the Society for Pediatric Pain Medicine in spring '24 (we'd love for you to join us!), we're also working behind-the-scenes on something even bigger. Mark your calendars for something special in 2025!
